Who Knows Chinese Stock Market Better?

Mr. Greenspan (former US Fed chief), Jim Rogers (legendary investor), or Shang Fu Lin (Chairman, China Securities Regulation Committee)?

For me this is an easy pick (the latter two). But it seems people in the west believe in Mr. Greenspan better. Now after making comments in Feb (which partially caused the Feb. 27 crash), the old man speaks again. Don’t get me wrong, I have a lot respect for Mr. Greenspan regarding economy indicators, monetary policy, all the good stuffs, but not on the Chinese stock market.

On the contrary, here is what Mr. Shang, the father of “Chinese Stock Market reform”, said about current status of the market.

Who will be right? We shall see the outcome soon.

  1. From I read, he said Chinese stocks may suffer a “dramatic contraction” after climbing to a record.

Actually I think he is technically correct, but he did not say “when” the market is going to correct.

On the other hand, I think we could take advantage of those kinds of opportunities if some good stocks go on sale. I am still waiting to add more CROX and MR.
