Some more rational analyses and coping even thriving in the new far right US regime

I talked a quite a bit on this topic recently, and I think it’s also important to put things in perspective, especially across the different geographical regions on the global, also looking back to the history.
Two most important things
Stop doom scrolling, and try to get some physical active time. I talked about this topic here – My new year resolution: reduce screen time on iPhone and social media : more specifically, or if you need one more reason to quit social media: FB (Meta)’s founder Zuckerberg is supporting Trump; Twitter/X owner Musk is a MAGA. I think either Microsoft (owner of LinkedIn) or its CEO Satya Nordell donated to Trump inauguration too. It seems I should stick with Bluesky considering all this.
Instead of doom scrolling, we can do: walk, jog or run outside; do Yoga: this can be done at a group setting led by an instructor, I know JCC has it, or one can just follow the instructors on YouTube (it’s free); other group exercises lessons (again JCC has some good ones).
Interact with real people: that’s actually one reason I drive for Uber – on average one tip a day. Andy Borowitz On The End of Trump | The New Yorker talked about this too. He was talking about people in real lives are nicer than online. Build your community.
