Got some Compuware (Nasdaq: CPWR) shares last week in my SogoTrade account (for speculation purpose). I used their DevPartner products (integrated with Visual Studio, sold to MicroFocus lately, see news below) for memory debugging and performance tuning. Very impressed by their products from my experience. It can catch some unexpected memory error (sometimes introduced inadvertently due to time constraints in development).

First glance at financials: both balance sheet and cash flow looks ok to me (source: google finance).

Recent developments
(May 27) Compuware Establishes Leadership in Fast-Growing End User Experience Market (NewsWire).

(May 7) Compuware Shifts Focus: Optimization and Performance In, Quality Out (Dana Gardner, SeekingAlpha).

(March 25) Compuware ends contract to supply IT staff to Ford (Crain’s Detroit Business).

Another interesting fact found out is CompuWare was founded in 1973 in Detroit (Wiki). Quite old for a tech company.
