Below are mostly just my notes: I will rewrite it as time goes
how to teach kids to drive on highway
======
how much does driver instructor make
(This is likely safer than doing AAA roadside assistant)
how to become certified driving instructor
driving school st louis
Hazelwood exam officer
Things S8 did well:
Looked back when backing up,
Signal when pull over to a street, signal and look over shoulder when come back to traffic,
Control the car well
Things S8 need to improve on:
backing in a straight line;
speeding (drive 31 or 32 mph at 25 speed limit);
Full stop at Stop sign, and look left and right (take the time)
+ emergency light and emergency break (how to turn on and off) =>
think about the headlights, left/right turn lights, look when change lane, pull into road, signal when pull over to curb, and when pull into road etc.
Look back when backing up.
Last but not least, Hazelwood does have both a parallel parking practice spot, as well as a “back up straight” setup in their parking lot. Something similar to the Deek Creek plaza off Laclede Station road for you older timers.
- Common Failures: Common reasons for failing include speeding, not yielding, and not stopping completely at stop signs. (automatic fail)
Koch road officer:
Pull over to curb => can pull a bit more closer
Parallel packing: try to park the car in the middle or center (vertically between the cones). I think Serenity mostly paid attention to the distance from the curb during learning.
